Today, I'm going to talk about kiaras 2 month update - her sleeping, feeding, health and play time activates.<br />
<br />
Her sleeping has changed quite a bit. She knows the difference between day and night. She will feed most often during the day and 1 or 2 times during the night. Most of her feedings are 10 times a day. Although in the last few days she has been feeding 6 to 7 times a day with consuming 3 - 6 oz per feeding which equals out to having 25 to 32oz of milk in a day.<br />
<br />
She is drinking half breast milk and half formula because I don't produce enough milk. At the begging of her 1 month mark she was drinking too fast, not burping a lot and was getting sick. She now burps every 1 oz If not than 2 oz.<br />
<br />
Her Weight at 2 months is 9lb and 1 oz. She is in great health. She doesn't have colic or any illness. She is a healthy and happy baby.<br />
<br />
The routine from 1 month to 2 months has changed a little. I bath her every night and give her 5 to 6 oz of milk right before bed and she sleeps 3 to 5 hours before feeding again. She loves bath time, she kicks her feet, doesn't cry and enjoys every minute of the bath. As soon as she is out and dry she looks content and ready for milk.<br />
<br />
For playtime activates we read her books and sing her songs. We will continue this and aswell as going to books for babies at the library. Every three weeks I go to the library and pick new books out since they are only two week rentals. She got a playmate yesterday and she absolutely loves it.<br />

Welcome to today's blog. Today I'm going to be writing about Newborn Must Haves, and an update on my postpartum and recovery of birth.<br />
The newborn must haves I am greatly appreciative of and that came in handy once our bundle of joy kiara came into our lives. The essentials - bathtub, changing table/Pad, Diapers, ext to the musical chair, feeding accessories - Glass Bottles, Gripe Water. Every product I bought or received came in handy at one point or time.<br />

The Bathtub is a 3 in 1 bath comes with three pieces - The Step/seat (bottom), the bathtub for when they outgrow the infant part, and of course the infant seat (top). At the moment, I'm using all pieces put together. The Bath is a good height for me to give kiara a bath.<br />

The changing table and crib were purchased from wayfair.com<br />
The changing pad was purchased from baby r us. The changing table has two cubbies and 2 drawers for clothing? Diapers, wipes, blankets and anything else you'd like to store. The changing pad is very comfortable and has straps attached for when your baby is bigger and moves more.<br />
<br />
I use Kirkland (Costco brand) diapers and wipes. Diapers are 31$ for 192 diapers. At first, the diapers were going really fast but now kiara is 2 months old she is going poo-less and having pee more often. Therefore fewer diapers are needed and used.<br />
<br />
The musical bouncer by ingenuity is a sleep saver and calms her down right away from the vibration feel and white noise sound that the chair provides We've been using this sin<span style="text-align: center;">ce day one and she tends to sleep very well in it. Most of the time she will sleep in her bassinet or crib laying on her back.</span><br />

I'd rate this product 4/5. The gripe water doesn't come into effect right away and kiara doesn't seem to mind the taste of there is any. I haven't tried biking or extreme sports yet. Iv has been walking and stretching for my exercises. slowly getting back into lifting weights and working on exercises for my whole body. I'd say my whole strength is not back, I can probably lift up to 10lb right now. Kiara car seat feels like 15lb, it's hard to carry for a long period of time. </span><br />

Seems like yesterday I had Kiara, it's been 1 month! Can you believe it? The last 4 weeks went very fast! Today's blog is going to be about several updates and what iv been up to with Kiara in the last month and our plans for next month as well as postpartum and how I am recovering.<br />
<br />
Breast Feeding has been going very good. I am still pumping breast milk, I am very grateful I have a lot of milk supply to the point I was freezing my breast milk in mason jars in the freezer. The first 2-3 weeks Kiara was drinking 1-3 oz each feeding. In the last week of the first month, she started drinking 2-5 oz. It says online that I should be consuming 1,800 calories a day to keep my milk from not limiting its supply. I've been eating a lot of dairy products and vitamin D foods and Iron rich foods. I love having cereal, yogurt, cheese and sweets with milk.<br />
<br />
Kiara has been loving bath time, she is content the whole bath time. Kiara has been sleeping very well through the day and night. Some morning's she would be up for 1 - 2 hours because she was wide awake. Other morning's she would sleep 3-4 hours at a time before she was hungry.<br />
<br />
Kiara development is coming along every day. Tummy time is a daily activity I do with Kiara. Her head is getting stronger each day. She loves reading and songs that I and my husband read and sing to her. We got block library books for her. 123, ABC and another book about her being loved are the books we currently have. Kiara can roll on to her side and has tried to roll onto her stomach from her back.<br />
<br />
We have been to books for babies group session at the library, most of the babies there were between 7-8 months. Kiara was just under 1 month, she slept most of the class. In June I will be attending a class called just beginning, it's for new moms with topics include growth and development, sleep and crying, infant nutrition, safety and community resources for babies 0-6 Months. The class is once a week for 4 weeks in June. I'm looking forward to the class, I'll keep you updated on info on that and how it goes.<br />
<br />
Kiara does not fit into her newborn onesies and sleepers anymore, she outgrew them after the 3rd week of having her. She now wears 3-6-month-old clothing. It is true babies outgrow their clothing so fast, after all, they grow up too fast. She is growing in lengthwise, outgrowing her bassinet. Soon we will have to put her in the crib in the nursery before 6 months and will use the baby monitor to keep an eye on her.<br />
<br />
Kiara had a one-month doctors appointment a few days ago, She weighed 8lb, 3 oz and 20 <span style="background-color: #f6d5d9;">inches </span>long. She behaves so well at doctors apt, she has no fuss being weighed and getting a check up. 1 month from now she will go back to the doctors and get her first nettle.<br />
<br />
For my recovery postpartum, it's been going very well. It's been 4 weeks. The first 2 weeks were the hardest to get through, thank goodness I had lots of help from my husband being off work and from my mother. I've been feeling much better in the last 2 weeks. The first 2 weeks I needed and got a lot of sleep and rest to recover my body. Now I'm lucky to get 6 hours of sleep overnight and try to have a 2-hour nap during the day as Kiara sleeps or is being watched by my husband or my mom. I have 2 weeks to go for recovery and oh can I not wait to be recovered. I've been able to clean, cook and lift again in the last two weeks. Before that, I was not lifting heavy items or doing much moving around.<br />

To start off the day I wake up with Kiara and check her diaper. Usually, when she wakes up she is hungry. I am doing bottle feeding with breast milk, she did latch on right after birth although I find it easier to pump, I do have a lot of milk supply in a day, I have been freezing my milk for later on. I do plan on breastfeeding by pumping for 6 months and then giving regular milk or goat's milk at 6 months of age.<br />
<br />
After she has a diaper change and has breastfed, burped and sat up for 20 min to digest, I lay her down to take a nap. She sleeps 1-2 hours at a time. She is a light sleeper during the day. She gets startled very easy with noises around her. Overnight she has been sleeping 2-4 hours at a time between feedings and drinks 3 oz. During the day she Sleeps 1-2 hours and drinks every 2 hours of 2 - 3 oz.<br />
<br />
When she is awake during the day, I interact with her by holding her, walking around, talking with her and taking her for walks on sunny warm days in her stroller. She also comes for car rides to the grocery store and the doctors. I will be attending books for babies sessions at the library with Kiara.<br />
<br />
Also when Kiara is sleeping, I get cooking, laundry, dishes done and clean the house through-out the week. Besides that, I take naps when she sleeps as well. I get most of my sleep overnight because she sleeps 3-4 hours at a time.<br />
<br />
She is outgrowing her newborn sleepers and fits into her 3 months, 3- 6 months onesie. She is growing a lot. She was born 7 lb and 5 oz, then lost weight and gained again.<br />
<br />
The routine will change as she gets older, she will drink more and feed less often.<br />

Motherhood is more than caring for your child, it's about enjoying the little moments throughout your child's life and making memories to last forever. I do believe entering into motherhood has changed the way I look at life. I look at life in a more meaningful way and recognize and reflect all the special moments. Raising a child is the best feeling in the world, knowing you're their parents and brought them into this beautiful world to care and love them. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span> <span style="font-size: medium;">It's been 1 week, 2 days since Kiara was born, she is very loved by her parents and family members. My family and my husband family supported us the whole way of growing our baby girl to now when kiara is growing in this beautiful world. We will guide her in the direction to love, respect others and be knowledgeable of what's right and wrong, good and bad.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span> <span style="font-size: medium;">I am looking forward to the next few Months/Years raising our little girl and seeing her develop an amazing personality and see how she shines our personalities. She might be more like me or her dad, we'll have to find out. </span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span> <span style="font-size: medium;">In the last week, she has changed so much, getting more strength in her neck, growing in length and getting into a routine of Sleep, eating, getting her diaper changed and having a bath. Since the weather has been rainy, we only took her outside in the trails for one walk.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span> <span style="font-size: medium;">How are we doing? Great, just a less sleep. We are enjoying every moment of having our little girl in our life. She truly is an amazing and adorable little one. She will be attending her first wedding for a family member at 1 month old.</span><br />
<span style="font-size: medium;"><br /></span> <span style="font-size: medium;">Hows Kiara doing? Amazing, sleeping soundly and content with being in this world. She is fussy at bathtime and when she is asking for food. It all works out in the end.</span><br />

Tomorrow will be 1 week with Kiara and 1 week of motherhood, I'm absolutely loving every moment of my precious daughter. She sleeps very well, and is not fussy when she eats. She also loves to be swaddled and held. Her first doctors apt is tomorrow, get to see how much she has grown.<br />
<br />
My recovery from labor has been a struggle and I'm getting through it, feel better everyday. I went for my first walk with Kiara with my husband yesterday evening in the trails, she did sleep the whole trip.<br />
<br />
Went on our first grocery trip as well, and everyone was so nice to us asking how old is the baby, and congratulations.<br />
<br />

Welcome to today's blog, apologize I've been m.i.a the last few weeks, been very busy getting ready for Kiara to be born. I exercised about until I was half way through my last week of pregnancy, Iv gotten really tired since I've been enjoying some R&R at home, and occasionally going for walks. Kiara is still healthy, she should be here in no time. Currently, I'm 39 Weeks and 7 days. Tomorrow is my due date, I have had progress in the transition to giving birth, I'm 2-3 cm dilated so that 7-8 to go! How exciting! </div>

I've gotten everything put together and ready, car seat in the car, baby bag, and my bag packed for the hospital. Now I have to prepare to be mentally prepared for the baby. welcome to todays blog, I'm currently 38 weeks and 1 day Pregnant, Kiara is the size of a leek, weighs 6.8 lbs. I have been feeling tired some days, but other days I sleep better and have energy to last me the whole day. Iv been eating healthy, but have been craving chocolate chip cookies a lot in the last few weeks. I've been doing light exercises, because it is getting difficult to workout like I used to earlier in the pregnancy. I've been reading to Kiara and listening to Kids audiobooks. I'm looking forward to reading to her once she is born.<br />

Collected a few more items for the nursery and have everything put together, Below is a picture of the Nursery. She will be sleeping in a bassinet that is in our room for 6 months. <br />

Today I'm going to be talking about my pregnancy journey, my day at the hospital today for appointments and other updates.<br />
<br />
I'm 36 Weeks and 2 Days, I'm very excited that there is less than a month until my due date and little miss Kiara comes in to the world of my husband and I. Kiara is truly a blessing to each of us, its a blessing to be able to have a baby too, I'm very grateful to have been blessed with our little girl.<br />
<br />
Kiara is healthy, moving around actively. I heard today that its good for the baby to have 10 movements within 2 hour frame, but also the baby does sleep during the day when you are actively moving. Kiara weighs 5.8 LB and is the size of a honeydew melon. 26 days to go until my due date April 22! Iv been doing light workouts and yoga during the week. I've been aiming for 3-4 times a week to exercise shortly after breakfast. I haven't had any cravings this week or last. Well, maybe I crave chocolate chip cookies a lot, so I made a batch the other day, everyone was happy :)<br />

I haven't just yet packed a hospital bag for me and the baby, that will soon be posted ones complete, along with the nursery. I attended Thyme Maternity Clothing store baby shower yesterday and got a goodie bag with baby essentials. I have started my nesting stage in my pregnancy where all I want to do in clean and organize my house.<br />
<br />
Today I went to the hospital for my group education class that covered Labor and Delivery information, taking care of yourself and baby after delivery and community resources and also to see the birthday room. I found this session very helpful, answered my questions and gave me insight to what will be happening for labor and delivery; Also was told when to come to the hospital and where.<br />

During the Group education class, the instructor gave a patient handbook and hospital tour video online link to view information regarding Labor, Delivery and after baby is born care. I find it very helpful! :)<br />

Then time has finally arrived, where I can focus more on getting ready for the baby and have time off work. Time to relax and let go of any stress I've been having this pregnancy. I had a baby shower since I've last wrote my blog! It was a truly amazing, I'm very grateful. I received baby clothing, bathing, sleeping and many more essentials for the baby. Including Crib, Changing Table and lots of blankets.<br />

The next few weeks (4 weeks and 4 days) to go to prepare our little one coming into this world.<br />

The nursery is coming together very nice. My husband's sister is painting the walls of the nursery in a wonderful design of our liking. A tree with flowers and an owl and Kiara name just under the crib. Once the Nursery is completely put together, ill be sure to post pictures of the room.</div>

I have taken a week break from exercising because I was working a lot and came down with a head cold that I recently got rid of. I started up again today with a 20-minute workout with yoga involved and stretching. </div>

At this stage. the baby weighs 5.3 lbs at 35 weeks and 4 days as an estimate from the baby application Nurture I use daily. I'm eating a healthy balanced diet with avoiding undercooked meat and seafood. I have noncaffeinated tea almost every day to de-stress.</div>

I have been reading books to <span style="color: #e06666;">kiara</span><span style="color: #ea9999;"> </span>as well as playing beethoven lullaby and regular beethoven piano music. Coming from the source of YouTube. </div>

For the next 4 weeks I'm planning on a spa day with my sister for pedicures and manicures and to spend time with family and friends. As well as to prepare the nursery and myself for the hospital. </div>

<li>Taking a bath, while listening to spa music. I was reading online that it is only recommended that a women during pregnancy takes 2 baths a month due to infections that can be caused in the body. For bath time I use Epson Salt - Lavender. This relaxes the sore muscles I get from work or other activities in my day. I always use warm water and not hot as this is bad for you when you are pregnant and I make the baths no longer than 15 minutes.</li>

I love those books because each one had a learning message in the book and I believe that's very important for kids to hear. educational books are very good to read to kids, especially pictures books, that way the child can have an imagination and understand the story more.</div>

My third trimester is going good, started working full time at a movie theater, its been going good, been a good job for me since they have rushes and than slow time to relax and get my head back since I usually loose it in the chaos.<br />
<br />
I'm 31 weeks, 3 days right now, baby girl is growing very fast, she already weights 3 lbs. which is 16 inch long. Iv been trying to be consistent with my work outs, I do 20 minute workouts, get my heart pumping, I do them on days off from work or when I have the energy to do so. In every workout I do walking, stretching, and yoga poses. Also work my legs and arms and sides with simple exercise movements. iv been keeping up with my nutrition, been eating salads, pasta dishes, oatmeal, cereal, yogurt, fruit and chicken and other type of meats. Been staying away from soft cheese, sea food. I always make sure I have a the temperature of meat before I eat it or ask for it fully cooked at a restaurant. Iv been staying away from coffee, just had it twice this month, that's all. <br />
<br />
Iv been reading simple reading kids books, and listening to kids audio books as well, the baby moves around a lot when I do this which is an amazing feeling. I put headphone on my stomach about two weeks ago and put classical music on and the baby was moving around a lot when that happen, she can hear pretty much any sound I can hear, not sure if just as much or more. <br />
<br />
I haven't had sickness through this trimester so far, just been very forgetful, tired and occasional headaches.<br />
<br />
I haven't purchased any nursery items yet or clothing, that will be for the last 6 weeks of my pregnancy, Iv been looking in to it though. <br />
<br />
Having a family baby shower this weekend, which I'm very excited about. and having my own in march.<br />
<br />
the last 6 weeks ill be also putting together my baby bag for the hospital and a bag for myself, ill write a blog on this with what I'm bringing for that.<br />

Pancakes with Fruit and Maple Syrup</h4>

<li>Home made batter - Flour, Eggs, Milk, Baking powder. </li>
<li>Melt frozen strawberries, Blueberries, Brown sugar and a little water in a sauce pan.</li>
<li>Flip Pancakes to golden brown texture, serve with Berry sauce and Maple syrup of your choice</li>
<li>Instead of using a berry sauce, you can add fresh barriers of any kind to your pancake. or try both styles. </li>

Happy Week! Hope everyone is having a great Monday. This will be a short blog about updates in my life.<br />

Right now I'm 28 Weeks (Third Trimester), getting more and more excited about the baby being born and all the excitement that will come with that. I will be having my own baby shower in march which I cannot wait for, and then in march and April getting all the remainder <span style="background-color: rgba(243, 168, 163, 0.92549);">essentials </span>for the baby girl. We have no yet decided on a name for our lovely girl just yet, between a few names right now. As of for cravings during my pregnancy, I don't have anything in particular, I just always want to be eating.<br />

Iv been baking/cooking this month, which was one of my 2017 resolutions, to bake and cook more and learn different foods. I made salmon patties, turned out amazing, and made home made gronola bars with dried cranberries and chocolate chips in them, turned out fanstatic, definitly going to make those again! Any fun, creative food or desserts you have made before and loved, let me know in the comments section or through my social media pages by message.<br />

For Career wise, I'm currently working as a bakery clerk, and frequently looking for work elsewhere in administration and customer service, I will be going to school for nutrition, at the moment the time is not right.<br />

Again my interest <span style="background-color: #f3a8a3;">involve </span>around baking, organizing, cooking and interior decor. I'm also interested in being a nutritionist. Happy Weekend everyone! Hope everyone is enjoying it so far. Cant believe its the last weekend of January already! Anyways, Thanks for reading my blogs up to now, appreciate it!. This blog is going to be about how I organize my home. Few things I do everyday to organize my home is to keep every room in my home clutter free and put everything back in its place at the end of the night. For example, The Living Room, I do have it already clutter free with minimum items and objects in the room, so all I have to do is put papers together in a pile, clear the computer desk of unnecessary papers, which than I will file, and through out anything that needs to be garbage or recycling. Keeping up on this everyday prevents the pile up on things in your home, its a really easy task for me to do, takes 5 or less minutes to do.<br />

For the organization of my kitchen, I make sure all dishes are put in dish washer or washed and put away, and clean my stove or counter tops to prevent aunts. I'll give my floors a quick sweep and that's it!. For the organization of my bedroom, I basically don't keep that dirty at all, clothes go in the basket and everything else has its place on top of the dressers or in the closet.<br />
<br />
Bathroom organization, I just make sure I put away my makeup and hair tools at the end of the day, and wipe down any water that got on the sink, and keep the bathroom a clean clear environment. I'm big on keeping the bathrooms clean all the time incase I have guest come over. Cleanliness is very important when you are entertaining someone at your home.<br />

Hi Everyone,<br />

Hope everyone is doing awesome on this spectacular winter day. Some may have more snow than others, but enjoy while it's here for a few more months. I've been really lucky where I live, a few snow storms and mostly cloudy with showers, it was like an England winter so far.<br />
<br />
April is on its way! warm temperatures and ready to start heading out for walks again! with my new born this time.<br />
<br />
New Years and Christmas just passed, was excellent, 2016 was a great year of growing of knowledge I wanted to gather. As well I got into baking, which I love now! My new Years resolution for 2016 was to learn new things - skills, knowledge, french language and learn how to bake and cook.<br />
<br />
This year 2017, My New Years resolution is to keep in <span style="background-color: #f3a8a3;">touch </span>with family and friends, and build stronger relationships and make time for them to be in my life, I believe that is very important in life, to be with the people you truly care about. Another 2017 New Years resolution is to increase my health by exercising, eating a healthy diet, and exercising my mind with board games, puzzles, reading.ext and continue to learn new things.<br />
<br />
I also want to work towards pursuing my dream career in nutrition, and apply myself to schooling, knowledge and educate myself with everyone needed to be in nutrition. Lastly, I want to get better at saving financially, budget and save money, I don't have a goal of how much I want to save, just want to start saving and be proud I can. It is very difficult to save because of the price tag on everything, it will be a challenge, although I'm up for it.<br />
<br />
I'll be raising my daughter for 8 months of 2017, That will be exciting, a challenge and a blessing for my husband and I. I'm looking forward to all the opportunity and excitement of 2017 has to bring with friends, family, education, career development and enjoying a healthy lifestyle!<br />
